Limassol. Waterfront
The two-week business trip ended unexpectedly quickly. Nevertheless, I gained experience, gained knowledge, saw beautiful places, but most importantly, met my colleagues in person. No chats and calls, even with video, will give you what you can experience in person together. Joint experiences are a great way to build and maintain social relationships.
The company's office is in the Limassol - the center of attraction for business in Cyprus. Amount of Russian-speaking people in Limassol is so large that you can live normally even with a minimum knowledge of English. But the cost of housing is simply crazy - for the summer of 2023 one-bedroom apartment in Limassol - from 1200 euros per month. In general, to live on the shores of the Mediterranean Sea - a very attractive idea, but the prices for housing and not the most transparent prospects for obtaining citizenship are not at all happy. I would like to live here for a while, but rather not forever. In the summer it is monstrously hot here (+40-45), and without a car I don't want to go out in the daytime, even in mid-September.
On the other hand Cyprus is a very beautiful place. The Mediterranean Sea is calm, clean and transparent. The villages and small towns look very beautiful. The food in small village restaurants is very tasty, and in Limassol you can find a cuisine for every taste.

A bit of ADs for the sponsor of this beauty
Not fun fact: the fastest way to get from Uruguay to Cyprus is via Madrid and London. From October people with ru passports and no European or US visa will need to get a British visa to transit London. Plus Europe is driving a lot of stupid laws against all ru citizens indiscriminately. Acts like this are a good way to earn voters in elections, but a bad way to stop the war. It is sad.
