Minimalst backpack

a guide for novice nomads

I've long been interested in minimalism, versatility, all that kind of stuff, so for me going away with a minimum of stuff wasn't a shock. On business trips of 2-4 weeks it was not difficult for me to wash and dry my things, so the stock of "week" is reduced by 2 times easily. During these 2 months I decided that I don't need jeans, sandals and crocs.

You need to take with you not what you want, but what you can't do without.

So now my stuff fits in a backpack + a bag for every day. And if it weren't for the multitool (it has a knife), I could ride without luggage at all.

Let's start with things you can't get into the cabin of an airplane. It weighs about one and a half kilograms. I plan to throw away one disk and try to explore the market of multitools - I want a lightweight and luggage-free one.

The next item is fashionably called EDC (everyday carry). It is more convenient than a half-empty backpack on your back.

The phone for 4 SIMs is needed for internet banking, banks in Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan send sms only to "their" numbers. Total in this phone is now a SIM from Russia and Uzbekistan, further will be more.

The most important thing is not the most spacious Samsonite backpack. I would like to replace my slippers with something more compact and lightweight. Sony headphones are very nice, but they eat up a lot of space. Near the mouse is a red matryoshka doll with adapters and small flash drives.

To move around it is very good to have free hands, so a backpack is always better than a bag. The pictures don't show the main phone, earplugs and sweatshirt yet. All of these are sawed into pockets while traveling, and the sweatshirt is tied around the waist.

Happiness isn't about stuff. The less stuff you have, the more thoughtful you have to be about each one.
