It's probably the beginning of a settled lifestyle. And today we're going to talk about an apartment in Uruguay. There are no miracles in the world, so anywhere renting eats up the most money.
spoiler. For your attention.
The whole process of settling down starts with the realtor, who will have to pay one month's rent on top of that for.... Yes for practically nothing, anyone who has ever rented through a realtor knows that sad feeling when you see someone take your week's earnings in a day's work. It brings to mind that meme.
and you could do that?
Then you have to pay almost the same amount to the insurance company for a year - there is a logic here. The owner of the apartment is fully insured against all risks - he will not think about what to do if you refuse to pay, move out or compensate for damage - it is the insurance company's headache. Therefore, bail money do not work here, even if you want to pay for a year in advance cash in hand - no one needs it. And yes, renting for a short period of time is not accepted here, and it is very unprofitable, the same as airbnb.
And here you have to add another uncertain amount to the costs. The fact is that apartments are mostly rented without furniture. There are options with furniture, but they are quite sad (a couple of photos below). If you manage to find a normal apartment with normal furniture and for adequate money - you should take it, of course. But it is extremely rare.
I'm probably too high, but I don't want to live in such interiors for a year.
How's that? There's a stereo and two rows of CDs.
not a thrill at all.
This is not our method, so we started to look at something empty and inexpensive. Toilets, sinks and bidets are present in the apartments, kitchen sets are also common, but not obligatory. The rest of the rest of the things you have to have your own.
Found... New building behind the university stadium, around 1-2-3 storey private houses and microcondos for 3-10 apartments.
This is the house. It's summer now (December through March) so everything is green and red. In winter it won't be so aesthetically pleasing.
This is a view of the neighborhood in winter. You can even see the water.
This (+cupboards) is all the furniture in the apartment. We are lucky, we even have closets in every room.
Further begins the pain and ruin of the accumulated stocks - a couple of beds, refrigerator, water heater, working and dining tables, armchairs and chairs, vacuum cleaner, air conditioner and 100500 other little things that in normal life are unnoticeable. I didn't count exactly, but it probably amounted to half a year's rent, if not more.
That's how the developer sees it. So here's what we got.
The living room, aka the office for work. It's also where I'm writing this text right now.
Same thing on the other side.
The bag has not yet had time to be put away in a bag of bags. The induction stove is for one pan, it's not very convenient.
The bedroom is really cramped
I'm not ashamed of the balcony, 8 meters, but how to use it?
And most importantly, the price. Such a two-shkchka costs 700-800 American conventional dollar units per month, which is very even humane. By the sea on the first line the price tag goes into space 3K-5K-7K. But there and the view from the windows is simply cosmic.
Like this one, for example.
That's all for now, I hope it was interesting. Our little Christmas tree sends its greetings to all those who have left for Kyrgyzstan and Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan and Armenia, Georgia and Turkey, Canada and Thailand, Vietnam and the USA. To all those who stayed the Christmas tree advises not to wait for miracles, not to believe in Mordor and to hope only for themselves.
