We returned to Thailand, to the island of Phuket. We settled in a spacious house, which we sometimes share with ants and lizards. We rented a car - Toyota Yaris, so we even managed to go for a ride around the island. I've already posted something in instagram, so sorry for the repetition.
You can slip a teenager's palm through some of the cracks, so it's only cats that can't get in from the street.
There's also a small pool, but I'm the only one who uses it.
The island itself is at times a hilly jungle with good roads, beaches and villages.
Immediately after our return from Malaysia to Thailand, the old geezer announced mobilization and you know better than I do the further circus with horses. Until that day there was still some elusive shadow of doubt on the theme "did I overstep the mark by leaving in June from a quite bearable life to nowhere?".
It turned out that many of my fears came true and everything was not in vain. On the one hand I am happy for myself, on the other hand not all my friends and relatives have the opportunity to leave or go away - it's sad.
russia @ those who can't or don't want to leave
But many of those who are currently holed up in Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan and Mongolia are soon going to Phuket. This will warm up the housing and car rental market a lot, so don't be afraid of unpopular destinations - maybe the Philippines or Indonesia will be ok too. Today I probably saw the first newcomers - 4 Slavs rushed past me on a moped with a cradle, filming everything on their phones with hooting and yelling. Here they will probably get used to such things quickly, and such contingent is usually quickly crippled or killed themselves. For the rest of you, here are some pictures...
If I have any idol, it is Buddha. I can't say that Buddhism is good or bad, there are no such categories, but there is definitely something to learn from Buddhism.
It's a lizard. It's harmless and very useful. It eats flies and mosquitoes at night.
Kitty comes in sometimes to beg for food as he can't fit through the door slits.
And for the most patient, a little bit of the night market.
A very popular format is a motorcycle with a homemade booth. They mostly sell food and drinks in this way, but there were also carts with clothes on them
Rolls and sushi and all this stuff.
Small kebabs. 40 baht is one dollar.
Instead of foil and napkins, it's babana leaves.
These kinds of snacks often come in unfamiliar flavors, so the abundance is deceiving.
But this kind of kebabs are tops.
And the best part - fried insects and their larvae. Cheap.
