Tashkent. Astonishment

You get used to something, but some things continue to surprise

Today I will tell you about something that continues to surprise me here and for which I can find no explanation or justification. What concerns hand-mate building and architecture is most characteristic of old neighborhoods. New housing does not differ much in appearance from the same people in Vladivostok or Moscow. The city center looks quite different, but I have to be there rarely, because I don't want to go out in +40 without special need.

bars on the windows, they're everywhere. It feels like 5 years ago, the whole city was in fear of a gang of mountaineering burglars. No matter what floor you're on, you're just as likely to find bars on your window.

And the presence of 5 languages at the same time continues to surprise. Russian in Cyrillic, Russian in Latin, Uzbek in Cyrillic, Uzbek in Latin, Uzbek in Uzbek Cyrillic with the addition of letters (Ң Ҷ Ө Қ Ƶ Ҳ).
